Tutoring Approach

I encourage the active participation of pupils; the sharing of ideas to achieve a deeper understanding of a given text. I feel it is important that the student’s own interpretations are incorporated into the framework of a session, to stimulate both their literary technique as well as their creative imagination. Above all, I believe tutoring should encourage both a relaxed yet productive atmosphere; allowing the pupil to develop and refine their own ideas and interpretations.
